Why I Built This
I'm a software developer who got frustrated with the same problem everyone has: wanting to save a snap without the sender knowing. Not for anything malicious—just memories. Funny moments. Things I wanted to look back on.
I tried the usual tricks. Airplane mode doesn't work anymore. Screen recording gets detected. Third-party apps are sketchy at best and malware at worst. Screenshots notify immediately.
So I started digging into how Snapchat Web actually works. I discovered that Chrome's DevTools Protocol gives you deep access to what the browser is doing—including intercepting media before it's displayed. The files are already on your machine. They're just hidden and set to auto-delete.
